GNN - RAWALPINDI: Over 100 rare photos of Dr Allama Muhammad Iqbal were put on display here at Rawalpindi Arts Council on Sunday.
The exhibition was arranged in connection with the birth anniversary of Allama Iqbal to show various aspects of his life and struggle. Resident Director RAC Waqar Ahmed inaugurated the exhibition, which was witnessed by a large number of school children and general public.
Speaking on the occasion, Waqar Ahmed said the Rawalpindi Arts Council celebrated the birth anniversary of Dr Allama Iqbal with traditional zeal and patriotism. Paying rich tribute to Allama Iqbal, he said that the thoughts of Allama Iqbal were guidance for Muslims because he always tried to awake them from sound slumber.
