PM expresses grief over Wagah incident; seeks report

GNN - ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Muhammad Nawaz Sharif on Sunday expressed grief and sorrow over the tragic incident at Wagah near Lahore.

He extended condolences on the loss of lives and sought report over the incident.

The Prime Minister also directed the Interior Ministry and law enforcement agencies to provide all necessary support to the Punjab Government in investigating the Wagah incident and to bring those responsible for this human tragedy to justice.

He asked the provincial government to ensure proper care and treatment to the injured.
