Sindh CM satisfied over ongoing targeted op in Karachi

KARACHI: Chief Minister Sindh Syed Qaim Ali Shah has expressed satisfaction over ongoing targeted operation in Karachi. Qaim Ali Shah was presiding over a high level meeting on law and order at CM House on Thursday.

Provincial Information Minister Sharjeel Inam Memon, Chief Secretary Sindh Muhammad Ijaz Chaudhry, IG Police Sindh Shahid Nadeem Baloch, Additional Chief Secretary Home Mumtaz Shah, Additional IG Police Karachi Shahid Hayat, representatives of intelligence agencies and other officials attended the meeting.

Qaim Ali Shah called for making prosecution process more effective and faster to bring to justice the suspects arrested in the targeted action.

The Chief Minister said that the first 10 to 12 days of Muharram are very important and ordered extra ordinary security arrangements during this period.

Taking notice of recent killings in the city, Qaim Ali Shah ordered immediate arrest of culprits.

He also called for blocking of unregistered mobile phone SIMs.
