ISLAMABAD: Pakistan’s Interior Minister, Pervaiz Rashid said on Friday that talks with the Taliban were progressing with unanimity.
Speaking to the media prior to the Senate session, Rashid said the government, opposition and Pakistan Army were united on talks with the Taliban.
The information minister told reporters that the meeting between Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif and Indian Prime Minister Manmohan Singh was positive. “Track II diplomacy talks with Indian over the Kashmir issue are underway."
Rashid added that Pakistan was continuing with its efforts for peace in the region.
