Five killed in Karachi firing, violence

KARACHI: Five persons lost their lives in firing and violent incidents in the city on Tuesday here. One person wounded in firing at sector 11 in Orange Town was shifted to hospital for medical aid, where he unfortunately succumbed to his injuries.

The deceased was identified as Rashid, a former office bearer of a political party.

In other incidents of firing, one person was gunned down and one wounded at Chakiwara in Lyari Town and one person shot dead at Malir Halt, one person killed in Sohrab Goth firing, while one wounded in firing at Majeed Colony, Landhi.

Police said that in a fight over personal enmity one person lost his life on Jigar Muradabadi Road near Guru Mandar. (Geo) (GNN)
