PESHAWAR: A skirmish between the workers of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) and Awami National Party (ANP) took place during the poling here on Thursday, injuring daughter of Haji Ghulam Ahmed Bilour, Zamrah Shujaat.The incident occurred here at one of the polling stations of NA-1 constituency set up at Shaikhabad Girls Primary School.
Later, leaders of both parties rushed to the spot and managed to control their workers, while police and concerned authorities had also reached there to beef up the security.
Eye-witnesses told the media that female polling agents of ANP and army officials also had an exchange of harsh words.(Thenews) (GNN)
