Pervaiz Ashraf threatened to release funds, AG tells SC

ISLAMABAD: Accountant General of Pakistan has told the Supreme Court that former prime minister raja Pervaiz Ashraf had threatened him to release the funds.

A three member bench of SC headed by Chief Justice Iftikhar Muhammad Chaudhry was hearing the case related to release of funds for various projects by former premier Raja Pervaiz Ashraf a day before the government tenure was about to expire. (Geo) (GNN)
